With purchase

The following additional costs are incurred:

Real estate transfer tax: 3.5% of the purchase price

Land registration fee: 1.1% of the purchase price

The costs of drawing up the contract and executing it in the land register as well as cash expenses for notarization and stamp duties are to be borne by the buyer. The amount of the lawyer's or notary's fees is approximately 2-3 percent of the purchase price and is determined by the respective chamber rates.
